ZenRust allows for the creation of an oxidized (rust-effect) finish when applied over the ZenMetal metallic coating.
Preparation: The surface must be sanded prior to application.
Application: Use a sprayer (pulverizador) to coat the entire surface, or mist only specific areas depending on the desired effect.
Reaction Time: Allow the product to react for 8 hours.
Creating Shine: Afterward, use 2000-grit sandpaper to gently sand the specific areas where you wish to restore the metallic shine.
Intermediate Protection: Apply two coats of ZenCover, allowing a 4-hour drying time between coats.
Finishing: Let the second coat dry for 12 hours, then sand the surface using 400-grit sandpaper. Complete the entire process by applying two coats of ZenSealant 2K protective topcoat, leaving 24 hours of drying time between each coat.
Preparation: After applying Zen_Oxid and allowing it to dry for 24 hours, thoroughly degrease and sand the surface.
Application:
Use a sprayer to achieve the highest precision and finest finish quality.
A roller can be used if a smoother, more uniform surface is desired.
To create a mottled (uneven) rust effect, a sponge or spray application can be utilized.
Reaction Time: ZenRust requires 8 hours to complete the oxidation process.
Finishing: After the reaction time has elapsed, proceed with the identical protective sealing process as detailed above to complete the metallic coating system.
